Early start and limited access

Solution: Secured clearance and load-in the day before, arrived pre-dawn for setup, and staged gear to begin shooting as staff arrived.

Variable light across the workspace

Solution: Pre-mapped locations and times, used controlled key lighting with modifiers, balanced with gels and custom white balance targets for consistency.

Background clutter and privacy

Solution: Cleared sightlines with facilities, positioned longer focal lengths for compression, and used shallow depth of field to keep focus on the subject.

Reflections and branding in glass environments and signage

Solution: Adjusted camera angles and flagging, used polarisation where appropriate, and composed to incorporate subtle brand elements without glare.

Output variety for multiple uses

Solution: Captured two to three setups per subject with micro-variations in pose and expression, providing a versatile set of images ready for different platforms.

Execution & Techniques

We conducted an advance site visit to learn how the office functions and to identify the optimal times of day for each location.

On the shoot days we worked as a photographer and assistant team to keep sessions tight, efficient, and well coordinated.

Each person was photographed across two to three setups, giving them a versatile selection of images suitable for different platforms and use cases.
