Hero Shot Photography partnered with Charles Taylor to capture professional portraits of their team across Australia. The project began in 2021 with a large-scale shoot conducted across multiple offices in a single day. Since then, Hero Shot has continued to provide ongoing support for new staff members nationwide, ensuring all portraits remain consistent in lighting, composition, and style.

Introduction

Charles Taylor, a global provider of insurance services and solutions, engaged Hero Shot Photography to create cohesive and consistent staff portraits across Australia. The challenge was to coordinate multiple locations and maintain visual consistency across all offices and future hires.

The initial project involved simultaneous photography sessions across offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Canberra. Each staff member was photographed in the same style, lighting, and tone, producing a unified corporate image. Following the success of the initial project, Hero Shot developed an ongoing process allowing new staff to book directly for studio sessions anywhere in Australia — achieving identical results to the original shoot.

Hero Shot Photography implemented a detailed visual specification and studio setup guide to replicate lighting and framing across all shoots. Staff could immediately select their preferred image on-site, ensuring efficient delivery and consistency. For future hires, Hero Shot established a streamlined booking process allowing staff to schedule individual headshots at nearby studios — all using the same camera height, background tone, and lighting formula.
